Calgary Tower is one of the best tourist attractions in Calgary. It is located in downtown Calgary. It is accessible by C-train.
Calgary Tower was originally known as Husky Tower. It is a great source of entertainment for all ages.
“It is the best place to visit, and it provides an amazing view of the city from the top,” said Ramandeep Singh, a tower visitor admiring the awesome view of the Rocky Mountains.
“It provides the great view of Calgary,” said Sukhwinder Kaur, a tower visitor.
Calgary Tower costs $18 for adults and $16 for seniors. It is free for children under three.
“It is better to get a coupon because it is really expensive for more than two people,” said Singh.
Multimedia tours are also available for visitors in Calgary Tower. It is available in seven languages.
“Headphones are provided to travellers on the ground floor, and it is beneficial to know about the history of Calgary,” said Kaur.
The Calgary Tower offers the light show every day before sunrise and after sunset.
“To have an awesome experience, I advise you to visit during sunset because the view of the city is great at that time,” said Kaur.
Before they ascend the tower, visitors can see a short film: Calgary Tower – Building and Icon in the theatre room.
“The film on the famous tower starts every 15 minutes,” said Kaur.
“The price to see a short film on Calgary Tower is include within the Calgary Tower ticket,” said Kaur.
Sky 360 Restaurant and Lounge:
Sky 360 provides travellers a great view of Calgary.
It is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for dinner.
“Sky 360 is an awesome family restaurant, and it revolves once per hour during dining time,” said Kaur.
Sky 360 offers tuna carpaccio, pan-roasted half chicken, mixed local greens, and more. But the restaurant can be busy.
“All the food items are delicious, but I really like the pan-roasted half chicken,” said Singh.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House:
It is open daily at 5 p.m. Ruth’s Chris Steak House offers potato leek soup, praline bread pudding, shrimp cocktail, and harvest salad.
“It also has a special menu for children that includes chicken fingers and chocolate ice cream,” said Kaur.
“The food is just awesome, and I highly recommend the praline bread pudding,” said Kaur.
“The staff is great, and so many food options are available,” said Singh.
“Don’t forget to visit, the gift shop because the shop offers Calgary Tower memorabilia,” said Kaur.
It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
“It was a wonderful experience, and I am looking forward to visiting again,” said Singh.
“I will never forget my experience at Calgary Tower, and it is a must-visit for every traveller in Calgary,” said Kaur.
Calgary Tower is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
